😭❤️❤️❤️ thank you for this. Life has been really hard lately, and I have been trying to re center! But please know I do scroll all the time and it does make me happy, and this means so so SO much to me.
I got to see my Gee for the first time in 1 year and 3 months. He knew my dad right off. WHICH WAS AWESOME. However, he didn’t know me at all. While I’m not surprised, I cannot say it didn’t hurt. I know it’s not his fault, he has dementia, so honestly the fact that he knew my dad after that long of an absence is kinda amazing. But I am so glad he is healthy and pretty happy. And while he may not have known who I was, he did know I was someone who loved him. And that’s all that matters.
Shortly after their marriage the Queen and Prince Philip went to Rome for her birthday. Although she wanted to celebrate with a low-key dinner at a restaurant, Philip organised a grand Embassy party.
The Queen was so annoyed with Philip that she didn’t speak to him for several days.
Prince Philip didn’t want any fuss but he was fussy when it was about his wife lol
